About Us We are Charles "Chuck" and Cyndi Keller. I am a retired Army Officer. I entered the Army right after high school as a Private in the Infantry. After a very successful tour (completing Airborne training, serving a tour in the 5th Special Forces, gaining the rank of Sergeant, and serving as a Drill Instructor), I returned to civilian life. Pursuing a college education, I worked as a police officer with the Spartanburg Sheriff' Department and later as a Sergeant with the Greer City Police Department. I earned degrees from Spartanburg Methodist College, University of South Carolina, and University of Kentucky and eventually earned a Master's Degree. I returned to the Army and after serving another tour as an Infantry Drill Instructor completed Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Ga. and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Armored Cavalry. I served in numerous positions including Training Officer, Troop Executive Officer, and Company Commander. Upon retiring, Chuck elected to settle in his home area of Spartanburg, SC. Cyndi Keller is a retired Army Civilian employee and currently works for SunTrust Bank. We have a son, daughter-in-law, grandson and granddaughter living in Zaragoza, Spain and a daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and two granddaughters living in Inman, SC. We have both been animal lovers most of our lives but did not get involved in the dog show world until after retiring from the Army. Looking for a hobby, our love of dogs drew us to the Spartanburg Kennel Club and to active participation in the Dog Show World. Cyndi has served as Secretary of the Spartanburg Kennel Club, Obedience Chairperson for two years, and has served on numerous committees. Chuck has served on numerous Spartanburg Kennel Club committees, served as editor of the SKC Newsletter, Board member, Obedience Chairman, six years on the judges selection committee, five years as Show Chairman, five consecutive years as President of Spartanburg Kennel Club, and three years as AKC Delegate . We breed on a limited basis and we breed to the current standard and only to improve. We do health testing and consider all our dogs our four-legged children. Their health, welfare, well being and happiness are always first and foremost with us. Please enjoy our site, sign our guest book and come back often.
